A lot of football today with Europa League and Conference league matchdays, but we're travelling to Bulgaria for our pick today!

Ludogorets are out of form for a while now, they've only won twice since the beginning of October. Those wins were against a team in a lower league in the cup and against the number 14th (out of 16) in their own league.

If we look at their performance in the Europa League it's even more disappointing. They've won their first game against Malmö (who are still only on 1 point), but lost every single European game after that. They also conceded 2 goals in every game they've lost. They've also conceded 9 goals in their 5 most recent domestic matches.

Celta on the other hand have picked up great form recently. Except for Barcelona they haven't lost since the start of October. With wins against PAOK, OGC Nice & Dinamo Zagreb they are sitting 4th in the EL league phase standings. They've also managed to score 2+ goals in those wins. They've also scored a total of 9 goals in their 5 most recent domestic matches.

If we compare national leagues, according to UEFA: Bulgaria is sitting in 27th whilst Spain is sitting in 3rd. This doesn't represent just these two teams, but it does show that performing well domestically in Spain would be significantly harder then Bulgaria. And Ludogorets can't even manage to perform well in Bulgaria.
