Hey guys, just wanted to share my thoughts on the Brewers vs Dodgers matchup for Game 4 tonight. I've got two picks that I think have some good value.
First up, I'm taking William Contreras to hit a home run against Shohei Ohtani. As we all know, Ohtani's been struggling with his home starts lately, and Contreras has been a thorn in the side of right-handed pitchers this postseason. He's got a great track record against RHPs, and I think he can capitalize on Ohtani's struggles.
Contreras' stats back this up - 14 of his 17 regular season homers came against righties, with a .422 slugging percentage to boot. He's also been the emotional leader for the Brewers this postseason, so I think he'll be fired up and ready to go tonight.
On the other side, Freddie Freeman is looking like a solid bet to hit a home run as well. The Brewers' pitching situation is still unclear, but that doesn't matter - Freeman has been one of the Dodgers' best hitters in this series, with a .667 SLG and 1.024 OPS through three games.
Freeman's splits are nearly identical against lefties and righties, which makes him a tough matchup for anyone on the mound. He's got a high-powered bat that can hit the ball out of the park at any moment, so I think he's worth taking at +475.
Overall, I'm feeling good about these two picks tonight. Let me know what you guys think!
